How You Can Help!
Volunteer
We serve over 15,000 students each year and that is only made possible because of our wonderful volunteers. Volunteers help with everything from education classes, gardening, grounds work, and much more! We have a variety of opportunities available for individuals and large groups.
Some specific opportunities include:
- Lead an experience (In School Programs / Field Experiences)
- Judge student proposals (Caring for Our Watersheds)
- Give classroom presentations (All three programs above)
- Assist with land restoration or trail maintenance projects
- Assist with maintaining and care of our sensory garden.
How to Volunteer
Student safety is our number one priority at the PLC, so volunteers who plan to work with or around students will be asked to complete a free background check before beginning.
