March is Women's History Month, and at the PLC, we're taking this opportunity to express our gratitude for the remarkable women who have shaped the field of education. From pioneering educators who challenged societal norms to modern-day leaders driving innovation in learning, women have played a pivotal role in shaping the minds of generations. Did you know that women make up the majority of teachers in the United States, comprising over 76% of the teaching workforce? Their passion, dedication, and expertise continue to inspire us every day.

From interactive exhibits to hands-on activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate the wonders of STEM together!

A friendly reminder from the PLC: Daylight Savings Time starts on March 10th! As we spring forward, take advantage of the extended daylight hours to connect with nature, embark on outdoor adventures, and participate in our upcoming events and programs. Project implementation for the Caring For Our Watersheds' 2024 Program is well underway at the PLC! We're also excited to announce that we'll be hosting our first-ever Professional Development Workshop. This workshop promises to provide valuable insights and resources for the winning teams of this year's program. 

 

Mark your calendars for May 10th, 2024, as we invite you to save the date for the CFW Presentations, where students will showcase their innovative projects aimed at protecting and preserving our precious watersheds.
